We are an award-winning community organisation, based in Warrington, with a mission to reduce loneliness and social isolation in our community by bringing adults of all ages together, and spreading positivity through activities.

What do we offer?

Activities are open to all adults living locally who would like to make connections, and meet with people locally, whilst enjoying participation in group activities and events.

Where are we based?

Our Activity Angels deliver a range of activities for the mind, body and soul, in various locations in and around Warrington, from pubs to cafés to libraries.

Activities are matched carefully to their perfect venue and suitable location.

Our Book Lovers Club is hosted in a quiet, cosy and private space above a café with refreshments available to purchase. Whereas our Games Night is situated inside a vibrant centrally located bar that boasts a range of eclectic playlists to set a chilled tone, and ambient lighting, for a friendly and welcoming evening for all.

How does it work?

Activity Angels CIC was founded at the beginning of 2024. Once registered as a Community Interest Company, we applied for a grant to enable us to make our vision a reality. After successfully being awarded funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we were able to begin delivering our varied activity programme in May 2024.

Since then we have secured several further smaller grants, as well as being awarded our next main source of annual funding from the National Lottery Community fund again.

With thanks to National Lottery players, who make this fund possible, we are able to work towards sustainability, as well as focus on expansion to help and support more people locally.

We rely on funding, donations and fundraising to keep our sessions alive.

All donations (big or small!) are much appreciated, and all your contributions are reinvested back into our community projects to help keep us going.
